Your Ball. THRIVE, #49

It is my nature to get caught up in something, occasionally even, head over heels passionately smitten. This well describes about how I feel about this intimate walk into the 23rd Psalm.

I have one more briefing on it--beautiful, wonderful verse six; it will also be the last briefing in our THRIVE series.

But for now, I should like to pass the ball to you. Get by yourself and read this psalm aloud. Listen to your own voice claim the Shepherd. Why, this could be a prayer uttered daily, Friend. Note the calm assurance of the words and their effect upon you.

The Lord is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul;

He leads me in the paths of righteousness

For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil;

For You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil;

My cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

All the days of my life;

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord

Forever.

Consider carrying it with you in your heart by memorizing it; you'll never regret it.

With love from this Southern California sheep,

Christine
